Cherry Cheesecake Danish
Ingredients:
1 can of Crescent Rolls Dough
2 ounces of softened Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup canned Cherry Pie Filling
This yummy recipe not only tastes amazing, it adds a beautiful decoration to your Christmas table! Heat oven to 375. Open crescent rolls but do NOT unroll. Cut 11 slices of rolled dough. On a baking sheet, arrange all 11 slices into the shape of a Christmas tree.
Using your finger, press the center of each slice to make a well to hold the filling. Mix cream cheese & powdered sugar together. Add one rounded teaspoon of filling into each dough slice. Add 1-2 cherries from pie filling to each dough slice. Bake 17-18 minutes or until golden with crispy edges.
For an added garnish, you can top with a pretty drizzle: mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar & 1 1/4 teaspoon of milk – then drizzle over your “crescent roll tree” after baking is complete.
